"protocol": "The most adopted methods to prepare BP/polymers comprise solution casting (SC), polymerization methods (PMs), and spinning technology (ST) methods.1. Dissolve specific amounts of polymers and BP in solvents to form homogeneous solutions, using sonication or vigorous stirring. 2. For PEG-\\\\cdotNH2 modification, dissolve the modified BP QDs in deionized water and sonicate for 30 minutes. 3. Treat the resulting BP/PEG-\\\\cdotNH2 nanocomposite with repeated centrifugation and water rinsing. 4. For emulsion solvent evaporation method, disperse materials in organic solvents to create a homogeneous solution, then add this to an aqueous solution and sonicate to obtain an emulsion. 5. Centrifuge the emulsion to obtain solid BP/polymer nanocomposites. In specific examples, BP QDs and PLGA can be dissolved in dichloromethane and added to a PVA aqueous solution, stirring overnight to remove residual DCM.1. Mix BP with the chosen polymer (e.g., PDLLA, agarose, PPMS, or MF) to form a composite. 2. For agarose, heat the mixture to enable reversible hydrolysis and softening. 3. For PPMS, disperse PPMS and BP NSs in a DCM solution via ultrasound. 4. Drop the mixture onto the surface of polished Ti-OH to fabricate a film. 5. Cure the mixture thermally in a vacuum oven. 6. For MF, mix BP-MF and DDM in acetone and stir for 10 min, then add EP and stir for an additional 30 min. 7. Place the final mixture in a vacuum oven at 60 °C for 2 hours to remove acetone, then cure at 100 and 150 °C for 2 hours. 8. Characterize the resulting nanocomposite for specific properties (e.g., antibacterial rate or char yield). The synthesis of hydrophilic polymers with functional groups involves the use of various methods. For example, the electrochemical deposition method is utilized to prepare BP/PPy films, while freeze drying is employed to obtain BP/PVA nanocomposites connected through strong hydrogen bonding. Additionally, BP/Pluronic F127 can also be prepared using the freeze drying technique. It is important that the BP and polymers exhibit excellent fluidity, homogeneity, and large cohesion to ensure continuous spinning flow when using spinning technology."
